Travel in Asia for more than 10 years and lived in Indonesia for almost 7 years. I often flight costs have been in situations where I was looking for a bargain. In Indonesia, AirAsia only deserve the main cities such as Jakarta, Denpasar (Bali), Medan, Surabaya, etc. .. Globally, they flymore than fifty cities in Asia. The service is limited (no reserved seats in pre-check-in), but it is safe and their fees really defy all competitions for the sector and type of services. Really cheap flight in Asia now I have seen at Sun So, take a look ....
In Australia it seems to work more like other Western countries. Read more pre-booked more were more likely to get a cheap flight.
