Fear of flying

There are a few fears in life that defy logic. Fear of spiders may be one, is the fear of elevators and perhaps another fear of flying is another. Every day thousands of aircraft from around the world, carrying millions of passengers safely to your destination. Flying is one of the safest, if not the safest form of travel available. And 'much safer machine, more than a third of the population are still afraid of flying.

People cite many concernswhen talking about their fear of flying. Many report a lack of trust in air traffic control and the fear that a simple mistake can lead to disaster on the ground in the air. Then there are fears of problems with the same aircraft. Most people saw the pictures of the concord crash a few years ago and if you sit on a plane, a few meters hum of the engines never huge, seems very hard to believe that nothing could go wrong with such a machine. In reality, veryShape and appearance of the air does little to restore the confidence of passengers who are already doubts about the airworthiness of aircraft to inspire.

Then there are the reports and press attention from the riots of deep vein thrombosis.

The fact of the matter is that the aircraft is extremely safe. And 'one of the wonders of technology, air travel to keep up with all the variety of potential failures and provides the flight after flight, on time and without incident. In fact, inUnlike almost all other forms of travel, air traffic safer every year.

The statistics speak for themselves. Do you know what are the possibilities for a single death on a flight? Now, according to the BBC, is 1-16000000 €. And the vast majority of casualties surviving dead, more than half of the other passengers. This means that even if all the benefits and to challenge one of the unlucky few flights, the accident happens, it isto survive even more than to die in the accident.

However, there is a problem with air travel that the statistics are not praise. Delays, lost luggage and missing flights are still frequent problems faced by passengers. Fortunately, all these are taken for something good, comprehensive travel insurance.
